Kia Ora,
My name is Danielle Ingram-Trevis and this is my 5th year teaching at Pokeno School.
This year I am leading the incredible Kiwi Whānau, teaching our newest learners to the school.
Room 3
Kia Ora, My name is Abigail Baird. I have lived in the Franklin region my whole life. In my spare time I like to hang out with friends and family, go for walks and visit nearby beaches.
I am looking forward to be teaching at Pokeno School with Year 1 and getting to know you all.
Rm 4
Kia Ora
I am Miss Haylee Shore and I teach new entrants.
I have been at Pokeno since 2022. Previous to teaching at Pokeno I managed a transition to school centre. I am passionate about bridging the gap between primary school and early childhood centres and supporting tamariki on their transition into school.
I live in Tuakau and have two wonderful children. My hobbies include travel, camping and up-cycling furniture, spending time with family and friends.
Room 5
My name is Rachel Potter and I am very excited to be teaching Year 1 in Room Five. I originally started working at Pokeno School as a reliever in 2021 and have been here full time since half way through 2022.
I have taught a variety of year groups in both a permanent and casual capacity, but am particularly enthusiastic about teaching in the junior school.
In my free time I enjoy watching documentaries, reading, baking, walking my dog Scout, gardening and I am attempting to learn how to sew! I live in Pukekohe with my husband Karl and our very excitable dog.
I look forward to getting to know you all better over the course of the year.
Teacher, Room 11
Kia ora Whanau,
Welcome to Room 11 for 2024.
I am Mrs Fraser and this is my 6th year teaching at Pokeno School.
I started my journey at Pokeno School in 2019, as a New Entrant teacher in Room 12 (as part of our then Ruru Whanau).
In 2020 I moved to the Senior School and began working with our amazing year 6, 7 and 8 students (in what was our Kea Whanau).
In 2023 I took on the Team Leader position of our Year 7 & 8's in the newly formed Karearea Whanau.
This year, I have made the move from being our Karearea Whanau Team Leader, to teaching in our Kiwi Whanau as a New Entrant Teacher.
I am looking forward to getting to meet all of our brand new tamariki and welcoming them, and their Whanau to our amazing school to begin their learning journey.
