Bula,
My name is Maggie Rani and I’m excited to be part of Pokeno school this year. I am from Fiji and have been teaching in New Zealand for 5 years.
I am married and have a 10 year old son. We have been living in Pokeno for the past 3 years and love being part of this beautiful community.
I am looking forward to meeting my students and their whanau and continuing my learning and teaching journey at Pokeno School.

Kia ora! My name is Kimberley Cruickshank, and I am so excited to begin my teaching journey at Pokeno School in Harakeke 2. After graduating from the University of Waikato, I feel privileged to be part of such a supportive and vibrant school community. As a first-year teacher, I am passionate about creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment where students feel confident to challenge themselves and grow.
Outside of the classroom, I love spending time at the beach and exploring the outdoors. I believe in the importance of curiosity, adventure, and lifelong learning—values I hope to inspire in my students. I can't wait to share this journey with them and see what we can achieve together!
