Room 4 (Yr 3/4)
I’m Tracey McVeigh and I’m excited to be joining Pokeno School and Room 4 this term.
I’m originally from Hamilton and have lived in Pukekohe for several years after living and working in the UK. Living in London gave me the opportunity to travel extensively through Europe visiting many amazing places. But there is no place like home.
I’m an experienced teacher, and have spent many years working in South Auckland. I have a passion for teaching and learning and especially enjoy watching students grow in independence as learners and having those ‘aha’ moments.
In my spare time, I like to be with my family and friends, being active - walking and cycling, travelling and ‘upcycling’ old furniture.
I look forward to getting to know the students and their families, celebrating their successes together.
