CREATING MINDFULNESS THROUGH PLAY-BASED LEARNING:

Recently as a class we had an idea to create our own ‘Room 2 Whare Tapa Whā’, utilizing our incredible play-based learning equipment and adding a little creativity into the mix.  When we think about Hauora we think about the four walls that make up a Whare, these walls all supporting the structure.  Each wall signifies the four dimensions of Hauora being: taha tinana (physical well-being), taha hinengaro (thoughts and feelings), taha whanau (family), and taha wairua (spiritual well-being). We all worked together to achieve a common goal and our own Whare looked amazing!  Ka pai tamariki, Miss Fale is so proud of you all.

Happy Mother's Day to all our incredible Mums.
